A brief introduction about Mr.Li Deyin
Prefessior Li Deyin taught Taijiquan at People's University of China for 40 years.He has been named one of the Top 100 Chinese Martial Arts(Wushu)Masters and has reached the eightth grade in Chinese martial arts. He is both a qualitied judge of martial arts at international level and a renowned national-level community physical-eduation instructor.Born in a traditional martial arts family in 1938.his gtandfather Li Yulin and uncle Li Tianji were the famous gradmaster of Taijiquan.Under his grandfather and uncle's stricr requirements,Propfssor Li stated his marital-arts training at the age of eight,studying Shao li Boxing(Shaoliquan)
,Form-and will Boxing (Xingyiquan),Eight-trigram Boxing(Baguzhang),Wudang Sword and Taijiquan,He began studying husiness management at People's University in 1957.After he graduated in 1961.he was invited to stay on and teach at the university .He then began his life of promoting and teaching Taijiquan and other martial arts.To promote Taijiquan comprehensively,he studied the Chen and Wu(武)styles to complement the Yang and Sun styles passed down by his family.He has been appointed chief judge for unmerous national and international competition.From 1950s,togther with a few experts of martial arts,hecreated 24-step simplified Tijiquan,32-step Taiji sword,48-step Taijiquang.In1989, with the support of the Chinese Wushu Association he competition orutine of gongfu Fan.At the 11 Asian Games held in Bejing in 1990,professor Li coached 1500 Chinese and Japanses practitoners of Taijiquan for a mass demonstration of the 24-step simplified Taijiquan at the opening ceremony.Male and female athletes tho had trained under him won gold medals.For many year,Professor Li has been invited to give lecture and teching to the counties and regions all over the world,such as Japan,England,American Switzerland ,Sweden,and Hongkong,Macao,Chinese Taipei,etc……
