Synopsis
Chow Yun Fat plays Ko Chow, a police undercover agent who is torn between his duty as a police officer and his loyalty to his friends on the wrong side of the law. He wants out and his commander officer Inspector Lau, played by Sun Yue reluctantly approves his resignation but gives him his last assignment - supplying guns to a gang of criminals suspected of armed robbery.

Danny Lee who plays Tiger, heads the gang of robbers. He has built a relationship with Ko Chow based on mutual trust and respect. During the final shoot out with the police, he is equally torn when Ko Chow sacrificed himself to save him and simultaneously revealed his true identity.

Synopsis
Tony Leung plays Lo Ka Yiu, a young graphic designer sentenced to jail for manslaughter. His honest and outspoken disposition has repeatedly gotten himself in trouble with the corrupted wardens and fellow inmates of triad background.

Chow Yun Fat plays Chung Tin Ching, a veteran inmate who minds his own business but is forced to confront Yiu's enemies time and again, leading up to the final show down with the Head of Security, played by Roy Cheung.

Synopsis
Chow Yun Fat plays a veteran inmate Chung Tin Ching. When serving his term, Ching's mother passed away and his son is sent to an orphanage. When his application for leave is turned down, he breaks out of prison, further antagonizing the new Head of Security, played by Tsui Kam Kong.

Chen Song Yong plays a fellow inmate from the Mainland, Lung who befriends Ching. When he is framed for murder, Ching is implicated in fingering him. Ching and Lung must break out of prison to stay alive?
